Profile
With over 15 years of experience in leading and managing complex projects and programs in the fields of peacebuilding, interfaith dialogue, and social entrepreneurship, I am a passionate and dedicated professional who strives to create positive individual and organizational change. I hold a PhD in Ethno-Politics and an MBA in Management and Marketing, which equip me with the knowledge and skills to design and implement effective strategies and solutions for diverse and dynamic contexts.
As the Manager of Volunteering, Youth and Education Development at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), he is responsible for orchestrating and overseeing the youth engagement, volunteer mobilization, and education in emergency and non-emergency programs. Some of my proud achievements include developing new innovative youth-led programs and solutions to community problems, incorporating sport for development, training, mentoring, and managing a team of six personnel, and supervising a youth engagement project focused on reimagining volunteering, digital mentoring, and leadership development. I also leverage my expertise in conflict facilitation, international relations, and report writing to contribute to the policy, advocacy, communications, and leadership initiatives of the IFRC. My mission is to empower and enable young people and volunteers to be agents of change and resilience in their communities and beyond. He is also a serving trustee of Muslim Aid
